Founded in 1982 by Howard Brunt, HB Commercial now operates from 5 depots across Suffolk and Essex supplying Parts, Service, Sales, Rentals & Tyres for commercial vehicles across the uk.
1982
HB Commercial Launches
With an engineering background and experience in the supply of commercial parts, Howard started HB Commercial in 1982, with the aim of supplying commercial vehicle users with components for their fleets.
All manufacturers source many of their parts from specialist manufacturers and it was the company’s objective to obtain direct accounts with these O.E.manufacturers.
HB Commercial was formed with that aim in mind, operating out of four containers in Sub Station Rd, Felixstowe. One container served as the office and counter, one was used as a brake relining workshop and two were used as storage units for parts.
1999
Mobile Servicing
Mobile servicing facility opened.
2006
Felixstowe
The company opened it’s new workshop in Felixstowe in 2006.
2008
Sales & Rentals
The growth of HB Commercial continued with the opening of our Sales and Rental division.
2012
New Headquarters
2012 saw the opening of our new Flagship purpose built headquarters on Ransomes Europark which included offices, warehousing, workshops and a 2 lane DVSA ATF setup.
2017
HGV Parking
Opening of new HGV parking facility at our Ipswich depot in 2017.
2019
Remanufacturing Facility
State of the art caliper and brake shoe remanufacturing facility opened at our new Bury St Edmunds depot.
2021
HB Tyres
2021 saw the launch of HB Tyres, covering Commercial, OTR, Agricultural, Car and Van tyres across the UK.
2022
Witham Depot
Our latest move was for our Witham depot, the new depot now has the capacity to cover and serve Essex, London and the surrounding areas.
